(GLENDALE, AZ) – The Rapid City Rush (14-2-0) remained the top team on the CHL’s Sher-Wood Power Rankings (Coaches Poll) thanks to winning 14 of their 16 games so far. The poll is released on or near the beginning and middle of each month throughout the regular season. Each first place vote receives 10 points, second place votes earn 9 points, etc.The ranking’s top four remained unchanged with the Missouri Mavericks (12-3-1), Allen Americans (12-6-1) and Denver Cutthroats (10-6-3) sitting #2 through #4 behind Rapid City. The Rush received eight first place votes and the Mavericks received the other two first place nods.The tightest part of the rankings is the #5 through #7 spots which are separated by just three points. The Quad City Mallards (7-3-4) moved up a spot to #5, the Brampton Beast (10-8-1) moved up a spot to #6 and the Tulsa Oilers (10-9-2) fell two spots to #7.
