(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush announced earlier today that forward J.P. Chabot has been traded to the Stockton Thunder for future considerations.
Chabot, entering his sixth year as a professional, suited up in 32 games for the Rush, notching 8 goals along with an assist for 9 points, along with 75 PIM. Of the 8 goals scored by the St. Patrice, Quebec, native, 6 came on the man-advantage. The trade between the Thunder and the Rush marks the third transaction between both clubs.
The Rush kick off a three-game-in-three-night set, their final series of the sort this season, in Oklahoma as they take on the Tulsa Oilers, followed by a showdown with the Missouri Mavericks the next night, and concluding with a return trip to Tulsa before heading home to face the Brampton Beast next week. Puck drop for tomorrow night’s matchup with the Oilers is slated for 6 p.m. MST.
