JOE HOWE TRADED TO ORLANDO

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush announced earlier today that goaltender Joe Howe has been traded to the Orlando Solar Bears for future considerations.

Howe, in his second year as a pro, played in five games for the Rush, starting in three, and posted a 2-1-0 record with a 4.14 GAA and a .846 SV%. Overall on the season, with the Rush, the Utah Grizzlies, and the Reading Royals, Howe has made 15 appearances and has a 6-4-2 record.

The Rush take on the Tulsa Oilers this weekend in a major divisional battle, with key points on the line for the Kelly Cup playoff push. Saturday’s matchup is the Rush’s first-ever “Dr. Seuss Night”, in which the players will wear special jerseys to commemorate the occasion. If you bring children’s books to the Rush office to buy tickets for Saturday’s special night, you will receive $5 off of those tickets.
