"McRUSH NIGHT" IS TONIGHT

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, is pleased to announce the return of “McRush Night” in the Rapid City community next Monday night, November 9th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at locally participating McDonald’s restaurants. This is the fifth time that the Rush and McDonald’s have teamed up in this endeavor to help raise funds for the Rush Foundation.

“McRush Night has always been a fun night for the organization, players, and our loyal fans,” said Rush Head Coach and GM, Joe Ferras. “Wendy Walla and McDonalds have been a tremendous corporate partner with the Rush since day one. Whenever we have a chance to partner up and raise money for a great cause, both McDonalds and the Rush are excited to take on the opportunity, and have some fun while doing so.”

Rush players and staff will be located at three McDonald’s locations in the Rapid City community next Monday, November 9th. Players will serve customers from 5-7 p.m., and half of the money raised in that time frame will be donated by McDonald’s to the Rush Foundation. Rush Head coach and GM Joe Ferras and Associate Coach Mark DeSantis will split time between each location to interact with Rush fans.

“It is incredible that this event is going into its fifth year. The partnership between McDonald’s and the Rush has been outstanding,” said Wendy Walla, local Owner and Operator of McDonald’s in Rapid City. “Both the Rush and McDonald’s are bought into being a part of the community. To join together and support the community is a win-win for everybody. I personally look forward to the excitement and awe of the Rush fans, especially on the younger end of the spectrum when they see their favorite player or any player for that matter serving them their orders. It’s all for a great cause and I look forward to our fifth year of putting this event on.”
