The Rapid City Rush are teaming up with Regional Health FIGHT CANCER! Our annual Pink at the Rink event will be held on February 12 at 7:05 pm. Join us for a night honoring all those who have fought or are battling cancer! Come help us PAINT THE ICE PINK! If you have been affected by cancer, come out the night before the game (Thursday February 11) between 6-8 pm to sign your name in pink paint on the ice! The game will feature pink jerseys worn by the players to be auctioned off after the game. A portion of our proceeds will go to the Cancer Care Institute. The Survivor Board will be played on the video board during the hockey game. The Survivor Board features names of those who have battled or are battling cancer. Call the Rush office to add your name or someone you know to the board. A bucket will be passed throughout the stands during the game for donations. If we can reach $10,000 select players will be shaving their heads on February 23rd at Great Clips! Any money donated will go directly to the Cancer Care Institute. Pink coozies will be given away at the door, sponsored by Hardee's!Call the Rush office at (605)716-7825 for more information!
