RUSH ENTER INTO MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH 100.3 THE FOX

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the team has entered into a multi-year agreement with 100.3 The FOX to be the “Official Station of Rush Nation” through the 2018-19 ECHL season. The team also announced the return of “The Rush Report”, which will air every Thursday afternoon starting this week.

“We’re very excited to enter this long-term agreement with 100.3 The FOX as our flagship station for all Rush hockey games,” said Rush General Manager Joe Ferras. “Having the added bonus of ‘The Rush Report’ every Thursday will give our fans great insight on the comings and goings of their favorite Rush players. This combination of the game broadcasts and ‘The Rush Report’ will broaden our reach to every loyal of Rush hockey.”

For the next three full seasons, loyal fans of the Rush can tune into all 72 regular season contests, as well as all preseason and postseason matchups on 100.3 The FOX. Mark Binetti, Director of Media Relations and “Voice of the Rapid City Rush” will be on the call for each game, as he enters his fourth season on the microphone in the upcoming 2016-17 ECHL campaign.

Additionally, “The Rush Report” will return to the 100.3 The FOX airwaves every Thursday afternoon starting this week. The program, hosted by Gunner, will feature your favorite Rush players and staff members as the season progresses in a twenty-minute show. The first episode of the 2016-17 season will feature Rush Assistant Coach, Daniel Tetrault.

“We are thrilled to bring back ‘The Rush Report’,” said Adrian “Gunner” Ludens, Program Director of 100.3 The FOX. “I think the show helps fans get to know the new players quicker. It’s also great to catch up with returning players. It feels like visiting with old friends.

“As the season gets underway, look for an added dimension to ‘The Rush Report’. We’ll be live-streaming the interviews on our Facebook page,” Gunner revealed. “I think it would be fun for fans to see the players in a different setting, and even interact by asking the players questions.”

“This partnership with 100.3 The FOX further proves how committed we are as an organization to providing the best content and coverage of our team to our entire fan base,” said Mark Binetti, who is set to call his fourth season of Rush hockey as the “Voice of the Rush”. “Having the chance to work for a fourth season with Gunner and his crew for our broadcasts is a blessing in this job. They’re first class in what they do and how well they do it, which adds to how special our partnership is. I can’t wait for October 7th for our first preseason game to get back on radio for our games!”
