QUALITY BRANDS ANNOUNCES APPEARANCES

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, in conjunction with loyal Corporate Partner Quality Brands of the Black Hills, has announced not only a long-term Corporate Partnership, but also seven postgame player appearances for the remainder of the 2016-17 ECHL season.

“We have been very fortunate to have a great partnership with Tom Helland and Eagle Sales over the first eight years of operation,” said Rush General Manager, Joe Ferras. “Now that Eagle Sales has been purchased by the Gillick family, we had the opportunity to meet Anthony and his father Tony several months back and are very excited that our long-term partnership will continue to flourish with Quality Brands of the Black Hills and the Rapid City Rush. It’s very reassuring that Quality Brands shares similar ideals to the Rush organization, especially when it concerns the importance of community involvement.”

Quality Brands was formerly Eagle Sales of the Black Hills, who has been a corporate partner of the Rush since the inaugural season in 2008. Like all loyal Corporate Partners, Quality Brands contributes an exorbitant amount to the success of the Rapid City Rush.

“This is a relationship that has been built over the years, dating back to the Eagles Sales days. The team is obviously a very important part of the community,” said Anthony Gillick, General Manager of Quality Brands of the Black Hills. “A lot of our customers and our other businesses in the area are a part of the Rush family. At the end of the day, it’s about our customers. They really enjoy the Rush, and we want to be a part of, and enhance, that experience with them.”

Each player appearance will feature 4-6 of your favorite players at seven different locations. The dates and locations of the Quality Brands postgame player appearances are as follows:

• November 5th – Kelly’s

• December 3rd – Clocktower Lounge

• January 14th – Sally O’Malley’s

• February 26th – Texas Roadhouse

• March 4th – Murphy’s

• March 11th – Kol

• April 1st – Buffalo Wings and Rings

Gillick added: “The player appearances add that extra level of involvement and interaction: a chance to meet someone, shake their hand, and talk to them and ask how the game was. The fans seem to really enjoy that. It also opens up a different side of the players to the sponsors as well. Having one-on-one time with them is great, because they’re obviously so focused on their craft, on their games, and trying to get better and get to the next level. It takes them out of this competitive setting and into a more relaxed environment.”
