(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, invites you to join the Rush as they square off against the Alaska Aces for the final time on home ice in franchise history in an action packed weekend of promotions.
2nd ANNUAL “PRINCESS NIGHT”
The Rush start their two-game set against the Aces on Friday, March 10th, at 7:05 p.m. MST at Premier Home Mortgage Ice in Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Back by popular demand, Friday night’s series-opener is our 2nd Annual “Princess Night”. The Rush will hand out specialty youth jerseys at the gates, brought to you by Coca-Cola, to the first 1,000 fans 12 and under. Throughout the evening, Belle and the Beast, Cinderella, and Ariel will be performing, as well as meeting fans for photo opportunities.
BURSCH TRAVEL GIVE AWAY
On Saturday, March 11th, the Rush will hold the “Great Vegas Giveaway” in the finale against Alaska. Bursch Travel with Delta Vacations is giving away three $1,000 travel vouchers for Vegas vacations during each period of the game. By being in attendance for Saturday’s game, you are automatically entered and have a chance at winning one of these three great giveaways. At the start of the period, the section of the winning ticket will be revealed, followed by the row. At the conclusion of the period, the winning seat will then finally be announced. MUST BE 21 OR OLDER AND PRESENT TO WIN.
RUSHMORE THUNDER RAFFLE
Additionally for Saturday’s game against the Aces, the Rushmore Thunder Varsity Boys will announce the national tournament fundraiser raffle winners at the start of the third period, to be pulled by Rush Captain Ryan Walters and Assistant Captain Riley Weselowski, for the four Minnesota Wild game tickets and the four Justin Bieber concert tickets. The raffle helps raise funds to offset travel costs for the team’s trip to Cleveland at the end of March.
TEAM PICTURE AND SKATE WITH THE RUSH
At the conclusion of Saturday’s game, Season Ticket Members can skate with the team and take a Season Ticket Member picture out on the ice. The STM Picture will take place before the skate with the players, and you must bring your own skates to skate with the team.
