(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, as announced last week, are holding a 10th Anniversary Logo Contest.
On top of currently pre-produced logos commemorating our team’s 10th anniversary of hockey in the Black Hills, fans have a chance to join in the festivities and design a logo of their own. The logo must have the Rush logo and a way of signifying that this next season is our 10th anniversary, whether it be by using the number 10, or its Roman numeral, X.
The winning logo will be featured on our merchandise, jerseys, even our center-ice logo in the arena. If the winning logo was designed by a fan, then that fan will receive a specialty jersey of their choice from our upcoming slate of specialty nights in the 2017-18 ECHL season, those nights of which are yet to be determined.
Fans can send in their entries beginning today to our Assistant General Manager, Brandon Schumacher, at brandon@rapidcityrush.com. The deadline for fan submissions is May 22nd. Following the submission deadline, rounds of voting will take place to determine which logo will be used to help us celebrate a decade of professional hockey and some of the greatest memories with the best fans in the ECHL.
