(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, invites you to watch Rush defenseman, Riley Weselowski, perform at Shipwreck’s Bar and Grill, a long-time loyal Corporate Partner of the Rush organization.
“When I began playing for the Rush seven years ago, I started playing small gigs in Rapid City throughout the summer in the offseason. Now it’s grown into a full slate of performances where I’m almost playing every weekend at different venues throughout the Black Hills,” said Rush defenseman, Riley Weselowski. “Playing at a venue like Shipwreck’s, a loyal Corporate Partner of ours, means so much because of all the support Monte and his restaurant provide our team. Performing throughout the offseason affords me the opportunity to mingle with tourists visiting the Black Hills, locals, and Rush fans alike, and also allows people to get to know me as a musician and person and not just a hockey player.”
Riley Weselowski, the longest tenured player in Rush history, who possesses 11 franchise records, has been performing music in the Black Hills in the offseason since he first came to Rapid City. He’ll perform at Shipwreck’s, located across from Reptile Gardens, this Saturday night, May 6th, and at the end of the month on May 26th and 27th.
“Shipwreck’s Bar and Grill has always been a supporter of the Rush organization and its players. Having that relationship with a first class organization and its players is important to our business,” said Monte Hartl, Owner and Operator of Shipwreck’s Bar and Grill. “That being said, we are proud to say we are looking forward to next season.
