(LAS VEGAS) - The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, is excited to share that the team won one ECHL award at this season's Summer Meetings. We took home the Speciality Jersey of the Year award for our Military Appreciation Night aviator-themed jerseys. This is the first time the ECHL has given out this award.
The Rush were finalists for the Community Service Team of the Year, Most Creative Revenue Generation of the Year for the online auction we held before our Rush Fights Cancer Night on February 18, and Specialty Jersey of the Year for our Military Appreciation Night jerseys.
Over the past few years, the Rush has taken home six awards. That includes this year's win, Group Department of the Year, Community Service Team of the Year, Theme Night of the Year, and back-to-back wins of Marketing Team of the Year awards.
