FRIDAY’S OT HERO GOURLEY RECALLED BY AHL WRANGLERS

(RAPID CITY, S.D.) – The Rapid City Rush, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announced Wednesday via a Heartland Health and Wellness Roster Adjustment that defenseman Jarrod Gourley has been recalled by the AHL’s Calgary Wrangler.

Gourley was assigned on Tuesday, October 17 to Rapid City and appeared in both wins last week in Iowa. After proving tough defensively in Thursday’s win, Gourley scored the game-tying and game-winning goal during Friday’s 4-3 overtime victory.

The Calgary-native already has 12 AHL games under his belt, all with the Utica Devils, where he has scored two goals and added an assist.
