MURPHY RECALLED BY AHL WRANGLERS

(RAPID CITY, S.D.) – The Rapid City Rush, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announced Friday via a Heartland Health and Wellness Roster Adjustment that goaltender Connor Murphy has been recalled by the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers.

Murphy stonewalled 18 of 22 shots in his most recent win over Kansas City on Saturday night. To this point in the season, he has posted a .901 save percentage. His best performance came in a 3-2 loss to K.C. on Friday, October 29, where he stymied 47 shots of the Mavericks’ 50.

After two stellar seasons at Union College, Murphy made his professional debut in a 4-3 overtime win over the Iowa Heartlands on Friday, October 20.

Goaltender Jason Pawloski has been placed on the active roster as a result of Murphy’s recall.
