(RAPID CITY, S.D.)—The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announced on Wednesday, via a Heartland Health & Wellness Roster Adjustment, it has traded defenseman Brenden Rons to the Worcester Railers in exchange for future considerations.
Rons, 26, came to the Rush after recently completing a five-year collegiate career between Ferris State University and Lindenwood University, compiling 110 games played between the two schools.
The native of Farmington Hills, Mich., signed with Rapid City in September and skated in one game with the club on October 26th.
Rapid City is in action next for a three-game home series against Kansas City. The Rush battles the Mavericks on Wednesday, November 6th at 7:05 p.m. MST at The Monument Ice Arena.
