(RAPID CITY, S.D.)—The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, play the season finale against the Utah Grizzlies. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. MDT on Saturday at The Monument Ice Arena.
LAST TIME OUT
The Rapid City Rush fell to the Utah Grizzlies, 5-2, at The Monument Ice Arena last night. Utah opened the scoring fewer than four minutes in and did not lose the lead. Billy Constantinou scored in the first period for the Rush, as did Jonathan Yantsis in the third. Both Rapid City goals came within a minute of Utah goals. However, the Rush could not find an equalizer.
RADOMSKY HONORED
In a pregame ceremony, the Rush organization honored second-year goaltender Matt Radomsky as the 2025 recipient of the Blaine Jarvis Heart and Soul Award, the highest individual honor for a Rush player. Jarvis, a fan-favorite and member of the 2010 CHL championship team, tragically passed away in an accident in 2016. The award was created that year, with Radomsky being the ninth man to win it.
THE ROAD ENDS HERE
A topsy-turvy, yet memorable 17th Rush season comes to an end tonight. This season has featured a record-setting winning streak, one individual record (so far) falling for Ryan Wagner, and several athletes getting their opportunities to play at the next level.
ONE FINAL SEND-OFF
Rush fans will have the opportunity to say their last goodbyes to a special 2024-25 squad at the End-of-Season Party on Monday night at the arena. There will be autograph tables, silent auction items, and more.
