(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush organization is gearing up for the looming holiday season next month. Today at 5:30, the entire team, led by team captain Scott Wray, will be wrapping Christmas presents for an entire school as part of their generous holiday mission. This is the third consecutive year that the team is putting this event on.
“This is just part one of the event, just simply wrapping the gifts”, said Rush captain Scott Wray. “The biggest part comes after the wrapping is done. The school we do this for puts on an assembly the next day and we present every child with a gift.
“We have been doing this for three years running”, added Wray, “and it’s such a great feeling to give back to the kids. The sight of watching them open their gifts is an incredible experience, and one you never forget”.
