(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes and AHL’s Springfield Falcons, announced a change to their first-ever “Affiliation Night” that is taking place during the home opener on October 23rd against the Colorado Eagles.
To celebrate the occasion, the Rush are holding a raffle for a chance to win a free trip to Phoenix, AZ, which includes your flight, hotel, and 2 tickets to an Arizona Coyotes game. Originally, the contest rules stated that every 2 tickets bought translated into an entry for this raffle, while Season Ticket Holders received an entry for each additional ticket purchased, along with any referrals that purchased tickets to the game as well. The amendment to the rules states that Season Ticket Holders will now have an entry into the raffle for every seat they have for every year they’ve had it.
For example: If STH “A” has 5 seats and has had them for 1 year, then “A” will receive 5 entries into the contest. If STH "B" has 4 seats and has had them for 4 years, then "B" will receive 16 entries into the contest.
“There is nothing more important than our loyal and dedicated Season Ticket Holders. Going into our eighth season, and our first with an NHL affiliation, it is our goal to make this year, and many more to follow, the best for our fans in every way possible,” said Rush Head Coach and GM, Joe Ferras.
The rule stating that Season Ticket Holders will receive additional entries per additional ticket purchased, as well as for referrals, is still in effect. The winner will be drawn by Winston Day Chief at the conclusion of the first period of the game.
The winner will also receive a special memorabilia prize in addition to their Arizona trip.
