O’DONOGHUE RE-ASSIGNED TO RUSH IN MIDST OF ROAD TRIP
(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Arizona Coyotes, NHL affiliate of the Rapid City Rush, announced today that forward Dan O’Donoghue has been re-assigned to the Rapid City Rush. O’Donoghue is in-transit and will meet the team for the remaining half of their four-game road trip in Indiana.
O’Donoghue comes back to the Rush with 18 games played in the AHL with the Springfield Falcons, scoring 3 goals along with a helper for 4 points. Upon his departure from Rapid City, the Port Jefferson, New York, native was the leading goal scorer with 5 ignitions of the lamp, and second-leading scorer overall with 8 points. The second-year pro forward played his collegiate hockey at Merrimack (NCAA), and began the season in the Arizona Coyotes NHL training camp, before receiving his first assignment to Rapid City at the start of the ECHL season.
