(TUCSON, AZ) – The Tucson Roadrunners, AHL affiliate of the Rapid City Rush, announced today that Rush goaltender Adin Hill has been recalled to the Roadrunners.
Hill, a 20 year-old rookie, played in only one game for the Rush, which was their season-opener at home last Friday against the Colorado Eagles. The Calgary, Alberta native stopped 29 of 32 shots in the 4-2 loss to the Rush’s arch rival. Before beginning his first professional season this year, Hill played 115 games of major-junior hockey with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks, where he posted a 67-38-10 record over three seasons. Hill was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes with the 76th overall pick in last year’s draft.
The Rush are back in action on home ice this Friday and Saturday, October 21st and 22nd, as they take on the rival Quad City Mallards.
