LIBERTY SUPERSTORES AND RUSH TEAM UP

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, is proud to announce a new partnership with Liberty Superstores.

“One of the most visible parts of any professional hockey team’s sponsorship opportunities is the Zamboni. With the support that we have had from Dodgetown and Eddie Rypkema over the last several years, it was important to go through the process and meet with the new owners of Dodgetown, Max Patnoe and his family, to discuss the potential of Liberty Superstores coming on board with the Rush to sponsor the ‘RAM-boni’,” said Rush General Manager, Joe Ferras. “Liberty Superstores has a phenomenal reputation of community involvement in Rapid City over several decades, and when I sat down with Max and talked about how the Rush has made it a priority to give back to the community, I knew this partnership would be a great fit for both sides. We look forward to the future of this new relationship.”

Liberty Superstores is a car dealership spanning four-generations of family operation, and has grown dramatically over the course of several decades. Starting off with just one store, the business has now expanded to four in the Rapid City community. Recently, Liberty Superstores bought Dodgetown, a long-time Corporate Partner of the Rush, and looks to continue that relationship with the hockey team under a new banner.

“This is the first year that Liberty Superstores is partnering with the Rapid City Rush, and we’re super excited about it. We have a great franchise and believe that this will be a great partnership for both our business and the Rush,” said Max Patnoe, General Manager of Liberty Superstores. “The Rush organization is super involved in the community and so are we, and with that being said we thought that this would be a great fit. We’re not only sponsoring one of the Zambonis, but we’ll also have a truck on the ice at every game, so people can see the truck every night and see how much fun we’re having as a partner of this team.”

The Rush conclude this week’s road trip with a three-game-in-three-night series against their Mountain Division rivals, the Alaska Aces. The “three-in-three” marks the first matchups in what will be a 10-game slate of head to head showdowns. Puck drop for the set will be at 9:15 p.m. MST on Friday and Saturday, October 28th and 29th, and 5:05 p.m. MST on Sunday, October 30th. Catch all the game action with Mark Binetti on 100.3 the FOX, the “Official Station of Rush Nation”, or head to our official watch party locations in Buffalo Wild Wings and Native New Yorker.
