Our Military Appreciation night begins on November 10th at 5:30 pm when we paint the ice Red, White , & Blue! All military members can sign their name on the ice and family members are welcome to sign the names of loved ones lost who have served our great country. This event is open to the public, and you do not need to purchase a game ticket to attend.
The names will remain on display for our game November 12th as the Rush take on the Colorado Eagles for Military Appreciation Night! Tickets for all military members, both past and present, are just $15 ANYWHERE in the arena! The Rush will sport specialty jerseys brought to you by JD's Equipment Services, which will be auctioned off after the game!
To start the game off, we will have officials from Ellsworth Air Force Base and Camp Rapid drop the puck, along with military representatives singing the National Anthem. Members of our military as well as players from both teams will present a 40x80' American flag on the ice for the anthem, brought to you by Camping World.
Throughout the game we will be honoring veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War, as well as a special ceremony for a fallen soldier. We will have a sled hockey game played by military personnel during first intermission and we will host a swearing in ceremony during 2nd intermission for new military recruits.
