(RAPID CITY, SD) – Last week, the Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, thanked local nurses in Rapid City as a part of National Nurses Week.
Rush players Nick Walters, Logan Nelson, Anthony Collins, and Nick Miglio, along with Rush staff members Cody Lindhorst (Head Athletic Trainer), Jay Davis (Dir. Of Corporate Partnerships/PA Announcer), Mark Binetti (“Voice of the Rush”), and Daniel Tetrault (Assistant Coach) visited nurses at Rapid City Regional Hospital, Black Hills Urgent Care, Black Hills Imaging Center, and Rapid City Medical Center to thank nurses for their many sacrifices and contributions in medical care to the people of Rapid City. The Rush handed out treats provided by loyal Corporate Partners, who graciously donated to the Rush cause: Coca-Cola, Tropical Smoothie Café, McDonalds, Ifrit’s Pizza To Go, Jerry’s Cakes and Donuts, Caribou Coffee, and Q’Doba.
The Rush organization would like to thank all of the nurses we visited with for their sacrifices and contributions to our community, and would also like to thank the sponsors that helped us show our gratification. To see pictures of our visits, head to our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RapidCityRush/.
Additionally, the Rush will be in Custer State Park this weekend as part of “Free Parks Weekend”, so be on the lookout for Nugget and say hey to our mascot!
