(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild, announced the home schedule for the 2018-19 ECHL season.

Highlights of the 2018-19 home schedule include the following:
--After opening the season on the road, the Rush will begin their 11th campaign defending home ice in the Black Hills on October 20th against the Kansas City Mavericks. This is the first time since the 2015-16 ECHL season that the Rush will host the Mavericks.
--There will be 13 Friday home games, 14 Saturday games, 6 Wednesday night games, 2 Sunday games, and 1 Monday night game.
--The only Monday night game on the slate is a New Year’s Eve Showdown against the Idaho Steelheads, marking the 10th time in the team’s 11 seasons they’ll play on the final day of the calendar year. It will be their 7th home game on the holiday as well.
--For the first time in team history, the Rush will welcome the Florida Everblades and Atlanta Gladiators from the South Division to Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
--The longest home-stand this season is 6 games from November 21st against Idaho to December 1st against Utah. There are three different home-stands of 5 games from October 20th vs Kansas City to October 28th vs Allen, December 21st vs Wichita to New Year’s Eve vs Idaho, and January 11th vs Tulsa to January 19th vs Florida.
--For the first time since the 2015-16 ECHL season, the Rush will welcome back the Fort Wayne Komets.
--The Idaho Steelheads will make the most appearances in Rushmore Plaza Civic Center with 8 games, followed by Utah (6), Wichita and Kansas City (4 each), Allen, Florida, Fort Wayne, and Atlanta (3 each), and Tulsa (twice).
--Of the 36 Rush home games, 27 will be played against Mountain Division rivals.
--There is only one “three-in-three” on home ice (vs Allen October 26th, 27th, and 28th).
