(RAPID CITY, S.D.)—The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announced Wednesday, in an Active Life Chiropractic Roster Adjustment, Tyson Feist and Kyle Walker have been assigned to the Rush by the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers.
Feist, 25, is entering his fifth professional season and first in the Calgary organization. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound right-shot defenseman split last year between the Indy Fuel and Fort Wayne Komets in the ECHL, while also suiting up for 13 AHL games for the Bakersfield Condors.
A native of Dawson Creek, B.C., Feist has totaled 49 points (10g+39a) and 160 penalty minutes across 128 ECHL games with Orlando, Indy, and Fort Wayne.
Feist also owns nine points (1g+8a) and 86 penalty minutes across 57 AHL games played. He and Ryan Wagner were teammates on the Chicago Wolves during the 2023-24 season.
Walker, 26, is a rookie defenseman on a two-way AHL/ECHL contract with Calgary. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound left-shot suited up in three games with the Wranglers while on a Professional Tryout contract in April. Walker made his professional debut with Reading in March, posting three regular season and five playoff games with the Royals.
The Leduc, Alberta native played five collegiate seasons at Mount Royal University in Calgary, where he racked up 78 points (16g+62a) and 172 penalty minutes in 128 games while serving as a two-year captain.
