(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush is pleased to announce the return of “McRush Night” in the Rapid City community. This is the fourth time that the Rush and McDonald’s have teamed up in this endeavor to help raise funds for the Rush Foundation.
“It is, and has always been, extremely important to the Rush organization that we are actively involved in the community,” said Head coach and GM Joe Ferras. “Having the opportunity to partner with McDonald’s to raise money for the Rush Foundation to help our locally supported causes and charities is something we are proud of and very committed to.”
Rush players and staff will be located at three McDonald’s locations in the Rapid City community next Tuesday, November 4th. Players will serve customers from 5-7 p.m. Half of the money raised in that time frame will be donated by McDonald’s to the Rush Foundation. Rush Head coach and GM Joe Ferras and Associate Coach Mark DeSantis will split time between each location to interact with Rush fans.
“We are pleased to partner with the locally owned Rapid City Rush, as well as the locally operated Rush Foundation,” said Wendy Walla, local Owner and Operator of McDonald’s. “All of the McDonald’s are locally owned and operated as well, and it is important that the money raised by this event will stay within the community of Rapid City. McRush Night is fun night for all of our employees, the Rush players and staff participating, and a great way for all of our customers to see their favorite Rush players off the ice.”
Ferras concluded: “Come out to support a great cause and visit with your favorite Rush players!”
