(RAPID CITY, S.D.)—The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announced Friday, in an Active Life Chiropractic Roster Adjustment, defenseman Tyler Inamoto has been assigned to the Rush by the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers.
Inamoto, 27, is entering his fifth professional season and first in the Calgary organization. He brings 119 career games of ECHL experience and 32 AHL contests while previously in the Ontario Reign and Bakersfield Condors organizations.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound left-shot defenseman spent the majority of last season in Fort Wayne, recording 11 points (1g+10a) with a plus-14 rating in 41 games. Inamoto also skated in nine AHL games with Bakersfield and played 14 Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Komets.
A native of Barrington, Ill., Inamoto is a University of Wisconsin alumnus and served as alternate captain twice for the Badgers. He also competed for the U.S. National Team Development Program (NTDP) at the U17 and U18 levels.
