(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush announced the shifts for their annual “Tip-a-Player” event, taking place TONIGHT, January 26th.
The event, now in its fifth season, places the entire Rush team in trios with a Special Olympics athlete and a Buffalo Wild Wings server to wait tables throughout the evening. From 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., ALL TIPS that the players receive will be donated to Special Olympics Rapid City Flame.
The players will be split between two shifts: one from 4:30-6:30 and the second from 6:30-8:30. The first shift showcases Riley Weselowski, Jesse Schultz, Johan Ryd, Andy Huff, Danny Battochio, J.M. Rizk, captain Danny Tetrault, Sean Erickson, Jeremy Gates, Justin Faryna, Winston Day Chief and Taylor Law. Jumping on the second shift are Scott Brannon, Dylan Clarke, Daniel Barczuk, Steve Kaunisto, Johnny Griggs, Robert Davis, Cody Ferriero, Brett Kostolansky, J.P. Chabot, Jonathan Narbonne, Patrick Cullen, Dallas Ehrhardt, and Mathieu Brisebois. WOW! has also generously donated a TV that the team will raffle off at the event as well. $5 gets you an entry into the raffle, and $10 gives you three entries, with unlimited entries for each person.
