If you have taken in a Rush home game at The Monument Ice Arena, your eyes have probably caught a glimpse of our new warmup jerseys for the 2024-25 season.
These jerseys, which will be auctioned off at the end of the season with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Folds of Honor, pay tribute to the Calgary Stampeders hockey team, which competed in the Western Hockey League from 1951-63, nine years before the Flames franchise took the ice for the first time.
The vintage look was also inspired by the Calgary Flames' Heritage Classic jerseys that the team wore outdoors against the Edmonton Oilers on October 29, 2023.
