(RAPID CITY, S.D.)—The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announced on Tuesday, via a Heartland Health & Wellness Roster Adjustment, the Calgary Wranglers have recalled forward Deni Goure from the Rush.
Goure, 21, was assigned to Rapid City before the regular season and has played every game up to this point. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound forward has scored six goals and 16 points in 29 games while earning top-six assignments each night.
The native of Chatham, Ont. earns his first AHL call-up after netting goals in three of the last five games. He is the youngest player to play for Rapid City this season and the leading scorer among all Calgary-affiliated skaters.
Goure turned pro and earned an AHL/ECHL contract after an impressive 96-point season with the Ontario Hockey League’s Owen Sound Attack in 2023-24.
